Formed in 2014 in Berlin, Slap is a funkalistic, funtastic fusion of 4 individuals of a humorous nature. Slap combines elements of rock, funk, rap, progressive and even blues. Driven by the energy and aura of frontman Carmine Nicely, the beastly, booming bass lines of Daran Naphtali, the 'licious licks and revving riffs of Sava Stevanovic, and the dominant, driving drumming of Harry Michael, Slap's sound and energy encourages crowds to shake what they got 'til the room is hot and to sing until the vocal chords sting.
In 2016 Slap took home the title "Berlins Best Newcomer Band" at the Local Heroes Berlin Final in the Postbahnhof.
