“Eruption
of Corruption“ (also called E.o.C.) is a Thrash / Groove Metal band from Hamburg,
Germany. Was founded by the singer Davide Casarano, the rhythm guitarist Onur
Yurt and the lead guitarist Jan Radczuk in October 2010. After numerous lineup changes
(in bass and drums), the band found its complete and final form in August 2012, thanks
to the arrival of the bassist Pascal Lagemann and the drummer Malte Bliefernicht. Throughout
the months since their foundation, they´ve played in venues like MarX,
Trockendock, Silber, Bürgerhaus Wilhelmsburg, Egon´s. E.o.C. became second in the
”19.Winsener-Newcomer-Festival“. Their main musical influences are bands like
Metallica, Megadeth, Down and Pantera.
At the
question “What is your aim?” they´d answer in this way: “Getting rid of this
new-generation music, which is becoming more commercial and unmusical as time
passes. We have the prospect that through our music we could transmit the hope
for a better world, at least musically speaking. We have the dream to reach the
highest levels possible and getting near to our mentors. Our is not a utopia:
is only a matter of time.”
